Giardinelli

Giardinelli stretches along the north-eastern side of La Maddalena island and is one of the widest and most recognizable beaches in this part of the coast. Its privileged position makes it particularly scenic: the view opens toward Caprera and, on clear days, as far as Spargi and the other northern islands.

The beach alternates stretches of fine, pale sand with small areas of coarser grains and rocky outcrops, creating a varied yet harmonious landscape. The seabed is partly sandy and slopes gradually, while the water changes color depending on depth and light, shifting from emerald green to deeper blue tones.

Its north-eastern exposure makes Giardinelli sensitive to winds from this direction, which can make the sea livelier and the panorama more dynamic. On calm days, however, the water becomes flat and luminous, offering ideal conditions for swimming and extended stops.

Reaching Giardinelli by dinghy allows you to fully appreciate its open scale: from the sea, the length of the beach and its continuity with the surrounding landscape are clearly visible.
