La Cinta

La Cinta stretches for several kilometers along the coast of San Teodoro, forming a ribbon of fine, pale sand that separates the open sea from the lagoon behind it. It is a wide and luminous beach with a linear profile extending southward, while to the north it approaches the town’s marina. In the background, the imposing silhouette of Tavolara rises on the horizon, creating one of the most recognizable panoramas of the entire area.

The seabed is predominantly sandy and slopes very gradually, keeping the water shallow and transparent for many meters from the shore. Shades range from very light green to intense turquoise, with reflections that shift throughout the day depending on light and wind conditions. This characteristic makes La Cinta particularly suitable for long stays in the water and relaxed swimming.

Behind the beach lies the San Teodoro lagoon, a natural habitat for numerous bird species, including pink flamingos. The presence of this wetland creates a striking contrast between the blue of the sea and the softer tones of the inland waters, adding variety and dynamism to the landscape.
