Cala Suaraccia lies along the eastern side of Punta Coda Cavallo and is one of the widest and most recognizable bays in the area. The beach stretches in a long crescent of pale sand, with tones ranging from golden beige to bright white, facing a sea whose colors shift throughout the day depending on the light.
The seabed is mainly sandy and slopes gradually, creating a broad area of shallow and transparent water that makes the cove especially pleasant for long swims and relaxing stops. The sea colors range from very light green near the shore to vivid turquoise and deeper blue further offshore, with light reflections enhancing the water’s clarity.
On both sides of the beach, low granite formations shaped by wind and sea interrupt the linear shoreline and create more intimate corners. Behind the beach, dense Mediterranean scrub grows naturally, with juniper bushes and shrubs overlooking the bay and preserving its unspoiled character.
Reaching Cala Suaraccia by boat allows you to fully appreciate its size and variety. From the sea, the bay appears as a broad, luminous inlet framed by greenery and the profile of Punta Coda Cavallo.
