Cala di Volpe
A sinuous and sheltered bay where emerald waters, discreet pontoons and architecture integrated into the landscape define one of the most iconic settings of the Costa Smeralda.
Discover Cala di Volpe
Cala di Volpe unfolds within a deep and articulated bay along the southern stretch of the Costa Smeralda, between Porto Cervo and Capriccioli. The profile of the bay is irregular and sinuous, with small inlets alternating with more open sections, creating a harmonious and intimate landscape. The hills behind, covered with Mediterranean scrub, gently follow the line of the sea, while the iconic architecture of the area blends discreetly into the natural surroundings.
The sea here is generally calm thanks to the protected shape of the bay. The waters range from emerald green to bright turquoise on clear days, with predominantly sandy seabeds that keep the water luminous and transparent. The presence of pontoons, small moorings and yachts offshore contributes to a lively yet orderly atmosphere typical of this part of the coastline.
Cala di Volpe is not just a single beach, but a succession of small coves and coastal stretches that follow one another naturally. From the sea, the balance between landscape and architecture becomes evident, between exclusivity and simplicity. The soft lines of the hills and buildings echo the natural forms of Gallura, creating a coherent and recognizable image.
Reaching Cala di Volpe by dinghy allows you to fully appreciate its sinuous layout. Navigating slowly along the bay, you alternate between more open stretches and protected inlets, with the sea always at the center of the scene. Including it in a dinghy tour along the Costa Smeralda means experiencing one of the most elegant settings of the coastline, where nature remains central while dialoguing with the area’s refined and cosmopolitan spirit.

First of all, we would like to thank Gabriele & Ludovico for the amazing communication and guidance, not only during the booking process but also during the day of rental. They were very transparent about costs, we had a great check in/check out process, and they respond very well and clear during our communication on mail. They were absolutely wonderful. We both have our nautical license so we were able to book the R6 without a skipper. This was no problem at all. We went to multiple (recommended) places in the area of Porto Rotondo and they were beautiful. Water so clear as you see on the pictures and we even saw dolphins, twice!! The service they provide is like no other and included drinks, snacks, towels, water-shoes you name it. It was an experience we will never forget! Will definitely go back here whenever we are in Sardinia.Pubblicato su Sabrina Mechta20/06/2026Trustindex verifica che la fonte originale della recensione sia Google.
