Cala Finanza

Cala Finanza lies along the stretch of coastline south of Porto San Paolo, heading toward Capo Ceraso, in an area less urbanized than the main beaches nearby. It is not a wide sandy beach, but a small inlet characterized by granite rocks and sections of sand mixed with pebbles that create more intimate access points to the sea.

The sea in front of the cove features mixed sandy and rocky seabeds, displaying shades that range from emerald green to bright turquoise, especially on calm days. The transparency of the water allows easy observation of the seabed, making the area suitable for short stops and simple snorkeling sessions along the lateral rocks.

Behind the cove, Mediterranean scrub develops naturally, with mastic shrubs, juniper and low vegetation growing among the granite boulders. The landscape appears natural and relatively wild, particularly when compared to the more frequented beaches around Porto San Paolo and Tavolara.

Reaching Cala Finanza by dinghy allows it to be included in an itinerary that may also feature Capo Ceraso, Costa Corallina and the first stops toward Tavolara and Molara. From the sea, the irregular shape of the coastline and the variety of seabeds are clearly visible. It is an ideal stop for those seeking a quieter moment during navigation, before heading toward wider bays or the islands of the Marine Park.
