Cala Corsara

Tiny beaches of dazzling white sand nestled between pink rocks and a turquoise sea that looks hand-painted.

Discover Cala Corsara

Cala Corsara is one of the most famous inlets in the La Maddalena Archipelago: an articulated bay that hosts several small beaches of ultra-fine sand, separated by rocks and tongues of granite. The result is a succession of slightly different viewpoints, all sharing the same transparent turquoise sea.

The rocks surrounding the cove have curious, jagged shapes, softened by wind and time, and in some spots they look like genuine natural sculptures. The seabed is mostly sandy, with areas where the sand appears almost blindingly white, especially in the middle hours of the day.

Cala Corsara is the classic “dream” landscape associated with the Archipelago: vivid colours, perfect proportions and a sense of openness that lets you enjoy the sea with your gaze wandering between headlands, islets and open horizon. Cruising slowly by RIB among these rocks is almost like a game: you follow the coastline, trying to guess the shapes of the wind-sculpted rocks, enjoying a dynamic perspective that changes with every metre of navigation.
